You've heard the expression, "wine improves with age." But the same holds true for the winery from which it derives. In about forty years, Rosemount Estate has traveled a long, rewarding road to achieve its status as one of Australia's leading wineries.
It really began in the year 1969 with a man named Bob Oatley. Bob had a wish he was longing to see come true: "I wanted everyone who worked for the company to feel they were involved in the best and only the best." Having served time in the coffee industry, Mr. Oatley made it his goal to introduce those traditional, tried-and-true values to winemaking.
As the years progressed, so did the Rosemount Estate wineries. Oatley made the vineyards' expansion into the various Australian climates possible. Bob's wish came true and the message remains clear to all: quality will always be appreciated.
