Rosemount Estate winemakers spend many hours in the winery each day, working as a team—tasting and blending, discussing their aims, and spelling out their expectations.

Meet Matt Koch
Master Winemaker
In 1995, Matt Koch became a winemaker with Rosemount Estate based in South Australia’s McLaren Vale region. Matt has had a hand in making some of Rosemount Estate’s most awarded wines, including the 2001 Rosemount Estate Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Petit Verdot—known as Traditional. In 2003, Matt transferred to New South Wales to head up Rosemount’s Denman property. In 2009, Matt was given the opportunity to take the reins of the Rosemount winemaking team and was named Chief Winemaker.
